HIT THE ROAD DUDE
The original. The remakes.
The fishing-pond dialogue, the view from outside the pickup, and the driver telling a visitor to leave. These are the original clip and reference versions, not results made by this site.
Our 480p silver-tabby test uses the original performance and dialogue as references. Its motion and lip sync still differ from these examples.

What is Hit the Road Dude?
The “Hit the road, dude” meme features a driver in a white pickup telling people to leave private property. Hit the Road Pets is an independent AI video tool for putting your own pet or person into that scene.
Hit the Road Pets is an independent pet photo-to-video tool. It prepares a single-door pickup scene from one photo, then generates a 480p edit guided by a 15-second source performance and dialogue. It is not affiliated with the original TikTok creator.

Before your pet hits the road
What is the original Hit the Road Dude video?
The original is an August 2025 TikTok by @bird28thegr8, titled “Angry grandpa kicks me out my fishing spot”. The same encounter is also known as the State Property or Lock ’Em Up meme. TikTok and Know Your Meme show different calendar dates; our source guide explains that difference.

Do I need to upload the original video?
No. The workflow uses one pet photo that you have permission to use. You do not need to upload the TikTok video.
Is this a face swap into the original footage?
It replaces the full driver using a prepared scene and source performance references. Likeness, paws, dialogue and lip sync can vary; it is not a guaranteed frame-by-frame replacement.
Can I generate and pay now?
Yes. Choose a photo, sign in and verify your email, then buy a one-time video pack. Generation and checkout are open within the available capacity. If capacity is unavailable, checkout is blocked before a payment is created.
Does it work with cats and dogs?
The template is designed for pets first, including cats and dogs. Use one clear face and good lighting. Fur, paws and accessories are the focus of the editing instructions; results can still vary.
Is the audio included?
The reference-edit request includes the original English dialogue and ambience as guidance. New videos include native sound; exact words, timing and lip sync can vary. The public sample uses the original audio.
How much does it cost?
One video costs $5.99, three cost $14.99 and five cost $22.99. These are one-time credit packs, with no automatic renewal. Each video uses 150 credits; credits are valid for 365 days.
What happens if generation fails?
Confirmed failed or rejected jobs automatically return the reserved credits. An uncertain submission is checked before another one starts. A credit return is separate from a refund of the pack payment; contact support for billing issues.
How long does it take?
Generation time depends on the provider queue. The studio shows the actual status; download your finished video while its temporary link is available.
Can I upload a person instead?
Yes, use a photo of yourself or someone who has agreed to appear. This is an AI recreation of the meme scene, not the original video.
How long can I download my video?
Video links are temporary. The result shows the expiry time when supplied by the provider; download the MP4 promptly. If the link has expired, contact support with your video ID to check recovery options. Do not pay again to retrieve the same video.
